It started with a love for feeding people well.
Pleasurable Plates began in the kitchen, with a passion for the culinary arts and the soul food recipes that bring families together. What started as plates shared with friends and neighbors grew into weekly dinner sales that sold out within hours, then into catering requests for birthdays, showers, and community events — and a growing waitlist of clients who keep coming back.
From the beginning, halal has been at the heart of everything we cook. We wanted to create soul food and American comfort classics that every member of our community could enjoy without compromise.
Today, Pleasurable Plates has grown into a full culinary and hospitality brand — catering, private chef experiences, weekly meal prep, and recurring dinner sales — serving hundreds of clients a year across the Tri-State.
